Welcome To YSE Marine Engineering Co.,Ltd.

YSE Marine Engineering Co. Ltd. has been operating as an independant company since 2004. Managed by the principal, Leon Bowles, the company has grown steadily in this time. The company now has approximately 16 full time employees and occupies a 240 square metre workshop space on the hardstand in the Boat Lagoon Marina, Phuket.

From a base of service work YSE has expanded into retail sales with Volvo Penta, Sidepower Thrusters, Optima and Puma Batteries, Isoflex Engine Mounts, Watermakers and Racor Filtration as the backbone. Recently YSE has expanded to form a second company Phuket Parker Store Co. Ltd. which specialises in hydraulic hose and fittings from Parker Hannifin Corporation in America.

YSE offers authorised service and warranty work for Volvo Penta and Spectra Watermakers. Technicians and management have attended Volvo Penta training and update this as new training becomes available. Leon Bowles attended Spectra Watermakers factory training in California and is kept updated with regular technical bulletins from Spectra.

YSE work on site throughout Phuket and southern Thailand as requested. Service work is not limited to the brands we represent and all work is considered. For many of our numerous regular customers we maintain all aspects of the engineering aboard their vessels. We also take on project and refit type work during the low season, this includes engine and generator overhauls, re-powers and engineering refits.
